From Lacanau city to Lacanau-Ocean via Talaris, the Moutchic, Carreyre, The “Grande Escoure” and Longarisse, the municipality has one of the biggest cycle path network of the area. At the heart of the Pine Trees Forest, you will be able to cycle peacefully with the cicada rhythm. Cycle paths are linking all the places of the area but also the surrounding municipalities. In the North, Medoc villages: Carcans, Hourtin, Montalivet, Soulac and the Garonne estuary. In the south: the Porge, the Lege-Cap Ferret in the Bassin d’Arcachon until the tip of the Cap ferret which is fronting the majestic Dune du Pilat.The lake
Lacanau’s lake is one of the best place to be with your family in the Summer. Many beaches will allow you to refresh yourself and you will find canoe rentals, stand up paddle, sailboard, boat or pedal boat. Boat rides are organised from the Moutchic beach. Lacanau-Ocean’s beach, a world famous place known for its great waves, has received for more than 30 years a step of the Surfing World Championship in August.
